About the Author

 

Peter Lanosky has a passion for Canadian history that is reflected in his book Barbed Wire, Black Flies, 55F Below. He was born in Iroquois Falls, Ontario – a short distance from the town of Monteith. He moved west after graduation from Carleton University and spent several decades pursuing his business career in the natural resource sector in British Columbia and Alberta. He has now shifted his focus from making paper to writing on paper. He lives at picturesque Bridge Lake in the Cariboo Regional District in BC with his wife Bonnie.
